Copenhagen is one of the world’s most bike friendly cities; I’m one of the world’s least bike friendly people.

When I tell people that I’m majoring in Urban Studies, the reaction is usually, “We have that at Northwestern?” (We do, I promise.)

One of my favorite things is the vitality radiated by cities. So many people living next to each other at such high densities, and, in the best cities, those high densities mean that residents are presented with so much diversity of choice, and so many opportunities to have a unique experience every day.

While I’ll recite you all the stops in order from Howard to 95th on the Red Line in Chicago, or tell you how excited I am to see the Silver Line finally built on DC’s Metro, I can’t say I know any European cities very well at all. But ask me again in four months.

  1. Is this required for school, and how often are you going to post on it? Whether it is or not I really like the way you’re going at this in such an analytical and kind of non-college-student way.
