Dispatches
We are now recruiting writers for Dispatches, an exciting feature in which writers reflect on their past travels. Dispatches stand apart from most stories on The 195; they’re about retrospection, rather than publishing your thoughts as they take shape. These narratives gives us intimate glimpses of travelers who are back in the homeland and somewhat changed by their time abroad.
You don’t have to be a past contributor to write a Dispatch. Contact recruitment@the195.com if you’re an NU student with a crinkled boarding pass on your wall and an idea for a story you’re dying to share. Or click here to download a pitch form and send it back to us.
A Dispatch should be at least 500 words or you can use whatever format (poetry, photographs, video, creative non-fiction) you need to convey the truth behind your travels.
